Overview
EBS led the fast-track renovation of the W Fort Lauderdale's third-floor restaurant and fifth-floor pool deck while the hotel remained fully operational.
The W Fort Lauderdale is a luxury beachfront hotel. To stay competitive, ownership expanded and repositioned two major guest areas. The goal: introduce new food, beverage, and entertainment venues without interrupting the guest experience.

Bar/lounge room 7,131 SF and terrace 4,264 SF. Full demolition, MEP upgrades, custom installations, and integrated AV systems.

Pool Deck & Amenities
Pool deck 20,160 SF and new kitchen 843 SF. New bar, outdoor kitchen, upgraded pools, cabanas, and waterproofing.

Preconstruction & Early Coordination
Detailed slab surveys, extensive site investigations, and early material procurement for long-lead items.
Containment
Noise, Dust & Air Quality Control
STARC modular wall systems. HEPA-filtered negative-pressure. Noise limited to 9 AM – 6 PM.
Strategy
Concurrent Phasing
Both floors renovated simultaneously with isolation zones. Half the time of traditional phasing.
Coordination
Multi-Trade Coordination
Weekly meetings, Procore digital management, real-time RFI and submittal tracking.
